Mobility Flow
Saturday, May 2nd
1-2pm

Practice and play with a variety of calisthenic exercises, yoga flows/postures, and other exercises/drills, intended to increase mobility, flexibility, and strength. Suggested donation $10.

BJJ Basics
Saturday, May 16th
2-3pm

Introductory nogi jiujitsu lesson. No prior experience necessary. Suggested donation $10.

BJJ Open Mat
Monday, May 25th
1-3pm

Jiujitsu open training open to all levels and affiliations. Free!

Introduction to Ving Tsun Kung Fu
Sunday, May 31st
1-2pm

Introductory ving tsun kung fu lesson. No prior experience necessary. Suggested donation: $10.

what to expect

all of our classes / Training Sessions

  • RSVP required at least 2 hours ahead of training.

  • Please arrive to training at least 5 minutes (and no more than 30 minutes) before the start time to get situated. if it’s your first time, please arrive about 10 minutes early so you can sign our waiver.

  • No shoes are allowed on the mats / in the training areas.

  • You are not required to bring any equipment though you may want to bring a water bottle, Flip flops, and/or gym towel.

  • We have a shower you can use on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your own towel if you plan on using the shower.

  • Clothing - wear or bring comfortable clothes you can move around and sweat in.

jiujitsu

  • Clothing - if you have nogi jiujitsu gear like a rash guard and spats and/or shorts designed for grappling, wear those. otherwise, comfortable, form fitting attire free of zippers and pockets will work just fine.

  • We highly recommend bringing a mouthguard, but it is not a requirement.

  • You’ll need to remove and/or cover any exposed jewelry before class begins.

  • Cut, trim, and/file finger and toenails before training. long / sharp nails are a safety hazard.

  • Be prepared for close contact with training partners.
