Nogi jiujitsu is a mostly ground based martial art that focuses on takedowns, gaining control positions, and applying submissions against an opponent that has the same goals. We do not wear gis, the kimono and belt uniform worn in traditional jiujitsu, hence our sport is commonly known as “nogi jiujitsu” or “submission grappling”.

We practice and play with a variety of calisthenic exercises, yoga flows/postures, and other exercises/drills, intended to increase mobility, flexibility, and strength.
